Strengthening linkage between tourism and sports - 9/16/2016

Tourism and sports are considered as driving force for socio-economic development. The international conference held by Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST) aims to strengthen linkage between sports and tourism, elevate cooperation among countries with different cultures and lifestyles.

In attendance will be leaders of Vietnamese Government, MoCST, relevant ministries, UNWTO, international delegates in fields of tourism and sports, tourism enterprises and media agencies.

At the conference, delegates will focus on discussing sports tourism trends; relationship and contribution of tourism and sports; sports-based tourism product development; tourism and sports promotion; experience in tourism sports development.

Da Nang Declaration on promoting tourism and sport for sustainable development is expected to be approved at the conference.
